SUBJECT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY

INTRODUCTION
Subject activity helps the students to know about the importance of the subject. These activities provides co-opration among the students participated in these activities. It helps to develop the creativity of the students. The students will get an organisational capacity. These activities give new knowledge about the subject and give information about various things.
Subject association activity contain a collection of collections of activities from a global library that would be performed on a common subject. Students learn through their participation and processing it by solving problem and articulating what they have discussed.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
On 26thJanuary 2016 ,at 8.a.m we assembled in our campus to celebrate Republic day. Our principal hosted the National flag and we sang the patriotic song vande mataram. First principal Dr. Vijayakumari amma gave an introduction speech about Republic day. All teachers conveyed a massage to the students. As part of science club HARITHAM conducted three competitions were announced and prizes were distributed .Vote of thanks was given by general secretary Sivaprasad.
SCIENCE LIBRARY
We set up a science library in our natural science club for the purpose of effective science learning. We bought different science related books for arranging this library. These books helps in many of our classroom works. For seminar presentation, practical works, practicum etc. We prefer these books. This science library develops scientific attitude among students, develop different skills, motivations for innovations, increase reading skill etc.
NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION
February 28this celebrated as National science day. The motto of science day 2016 is “To raise public appreciation on scientific issues for the development of nation.”National science day celebrated on 28thFebruary every year in order to commemorate invention of Raman effect in Indian by the Indian physicist, sir Chandra sekhara venkata raman on the same day in the year 1928. For his great success in the field of science in India, sir Chandra sekhara venkata raman was awarded and honoured with the Nobel prize in the physics in the year 1930.
As part of science club HARITHAM we conducted three competition like essay , poster making , seminar and quiz competition. All students from various departments participated in these competitions. Two students from each department participated in quiz competitions. For selection of finalist a trial was conducted. On 9/3/2016.The finalist teams were natural science, physical science, maths and Sanskrit. The team that won was maths, second place natural science, third place physical science and fourth place Sanskrit. The prizes were distributed by the principal.
AQUARIUM
An aquarium is a vivarium of any size having at least one transparent side in which water dwelling plants or animals are kept and displayed.
How to set up an aquarium.
1.      Use a when adding water to prevent gravel displacement.
2.      Rinse the gravel in clean water and add to the aquarium, sloping it up towards the back.
3.      Place clean plate top of gravel and start to fill the aquarium with water. It your tap water contains chlorine add our chlorine water neutralizer.
According to instructions , we also set up an aquarium our class.
CONCLUSION
To make each student active player in the learning process , an environment must be created in which there are opportunities for students to join in doing tasks. In and out of class exercises that include problems for answering are important for prompting students to use language cognitivity and develop thinking skills.
